His father is the founding partner of a successful personal injury practice. Prior to moving to California and joining Heimberg Barr, James worked as a trial attorney handling personal injury cases in his father’s firm. He obtained both his Bachelor of Arts and Juris Doctor from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
